one of ‘those dreams’ (& astro class intro)
I don’t know if you have them, but every year or so, I have a Big Dream that rocks me, teaches me and wakes me up to new levels of experience. This one in particular left me with waves of understanding at a cellular level that are still lapping at my brain.
My dreams have been growing more multidimensional, therefore very difficult to remember let alone describe. I thought I’d try to share this one, because it’s, well, one of those important-feeling ones, but describing it might be a bit tricky.
In my dream, there are two worlds that aren’t the same, but they are so closely connected that they appear tightly woven together. Each is invisible to the other, but they profoundly affect each other. To cross from one world into the other is nearly impossible, but it can be done with deep intention and preparation.
The action in the dream begins when inhabitants of the–I’ll call it the ‘right-hand world’; it’s a place of power and love, where there is no death or strife–learn that whenever somebody is tortured, raped, murdered, or subjected to any kind of painful or debilitating trauma (including dis-ease of all sorts), there is a ripple effect into their own world.
The right-hand world is much less populous. Each person there is directly linked to quite a lot of people, hundreds and even thousands (maybe more; numbers were not clear), in the other world (our own Earth) and suffers milder but mirroring symptoms as a direct consequence of the ones they are linked to going through extreme pain or trauma.
It seems that the less the inhabitants of the right-hand world pay attention to the reality of the emotion involved, the less they are involved on a personal level, the greater the pain and suffering on both sides becomes. It’s an escalating, spiraling situation, and it is approaching a crisis.
Once the implications of this looming crisis are realized by the group consciousness in the right-hand world, all those who are willing begin to make the attempt to cross over to the our world. Once here, they work hard to find ways to affect what happens here, to help to diminish suffering and therefore diminish the effect in their own world. It’s not easy, though, because they still aren’t visible to many here, and their efforts have subtle results.
Apparently they have always tried to help, and are actually what we call angels, helpers and guiding spirits. We have relied on them for spiritual information, miracles and so forth, but because they have not understood the direct link between their own survival and well-being and ours, their efforts lacked something in enthusiasm, not to say understanding.
They are only human, the dream informs me, no different from the rest of us, simply more fortunate in their circumstances, and with more information and resources to draw on. They had been doing their duty, helping out the po’ folk, but without much real personal involvement. They were detached. Now, red lights are flashing and sirens wailing; they are discovering some real motivation to learn more about cause and consequence.
The dream wasn’t really a story, it was more of a cross-section of story, a vignette from the point of view of those who populate the right-hand world. The ‘I’ in the dream was a group ‘I’, rather than an individual, and it was the group ‘I’ of the right-hand beings, the angels or whatever. Very interesting to experience.
The dream was an exploration of the reality of what is happening than any kind of story; its multi-dimensional architecture was very clear to me, and still is, but I lack the language to be able to describe it accurately, alas.
Then, still dreaming, I seemed to wake from that dream, and in this next dream, I am a young mother of an adorable, precocious child of no more than three. The child looks at me with sweet gravity and says, “Mommy, da angew say to teww you it was weaw.” (“The angel said to tell you it was real.”) Now that gave me a goosebump or two, I’ll tell ya what.
This dream rocked me, and actually serves nicely to introduce my series of classes which begin in September, because in the classes we will be exploring precisely this sort of extra-dimensional expansion of experience, consciousness and personal responsibility.
I’ll be saying more about the classes soon, but here are the broad-brush details, in case it interests you. Spread the word!
