changes coming
I’m in the process of updating the look and function of this site; rather than simply a writing & music blog, phoenixwolfray.com will become an umbrella and portal for my other web identities such as earthmatrix.net, word of mouth, myspace and who knows what all. So ‘Truth is a Crazy Poet’ will no longer be the title of the blog, sad to say. I was fond of that name, though it met with resistance from certain quarters (’crazy? why crazy?’). Off it goes, and the site will nakedly stand in my own name.
Stay tuned for further tweaks and changes!
So what do you think of the new masthead? I rather like it. A little more mysterious, less in-your-face.

Is there a reason why a new version of TIACP wouldn’t be one of the sites through which phoenixwolfray.com is the umbrella portal? I would imagine your writing’n’songs vessel will have to be somewhere and called something!

Oh yes, forgot to comment, I like the masthead! It doesn’t seem that much different to my perhaps undiscerning eye, plus it’s going away soon, right?

I am using wordpress as my portal, so unless I install and create a brand-new blog called ‘truth is a crazy poet’ (I suppose it’s possible, but a lot of work) I have to change the name of the whole thing. See, tiacp is located at phoenixwolfray.com, and I don’t know how to safely move it and create something over top of it. There will still be a blog space for my writing, I just haven’t figured out just quite how to pull this all off. I don’t want to risk losing everything!
And the masthead is VERY different. It used to be made up of faces–mine–in various expressions and colours, with ‘Truth is a Crazy Poet’ in a kind of weird font stretched over it all. And no, unless I decide to change it again, this is how it’s going to look. I might change the template if this one lacks the features I need… but… well, it’s all very technical. Be surprised (I will

Oh! I had to refresh several times in order to see the new masthead, which is obviously different. Weird that Wordpress makes me do that. I have been seeing the coloured faces each time I’ve logged in to your blog today (couple times). Well, you might have guessed I liked the old one, heh. The new one just looks like my inner world, a kind of Piscean swirl. I’m glad you like it though! It IS kind of cool, with that shadow gettting a lot of focus. Ok, I like it! LOL
